Quit Smoking Information: Quit Smoking Set Backs

Quit Smoking Set Backs

A set back is not an excuse to start smoking again. It's a sign that tells you that there are some situations you are not completely comfortable with. Don't be discouraged, remember to think positively and don't waste your time on feeling guilty.

Work out how to avoid set backs. Think about why you started smoking again, what was the trigger? What were you feeling at the time? Use the answers to these questions to prepare for the next time the situation comes up again and you feel tempted to smoke.

Remember... don't give up! Review your plan for quitting and remind yourself of the benefits of not smoking.
